Beach Wedding Music
The old standard
"HERE COMES THE
BRIDE"
The actual name is "Bridal Chorus"
from the opera Lohengrin, composed
by Richard Wagner (see below), around
1849. This is usually the part called the
Processional, when the Bride walks
down the aisle.
Canon In D
Originally called "Canon And Gigue In
D Major," composed around 1680 (the
Baroque Period) by Johann Pachelbel.
Also used for the
Processional..
Sometimes, this is used for the Bridal
Party, with a separate theme for the
Bride.
Wedding March
This comes from "A MIdsummer Night's
Dream" incidental music for the
Shakespeare play, composed in 1842 by
Felix Mendelssohn. This is traditionally
played at the
Recessional, where the
Bride And Groom walk back down the
aisle as husband and wife..
You're So Cool
This was a request by a bride several
years ago, and more brides have asked
for it. Composed by Hans Zimmer in
1993 for the motion picture "True
Romance." It is also a
Recessional
song, although some brides have also
used it for a
Processional.
Oh, if none of these themes will do, you can
request pretty much anything to be played on
the steel pan. Also, these and other themes are
available on acoustic guitar if you prefer.

Cocktail Hour and Reception?
This intimate setting is enhanced by the romantic Caribbean
tones of the steel pan, a perfect complement to the Florida
barefoot wedding.
